Rhiannon Carta
Owner
Rhiannon has owned and served as Studio Director and Lead Educator at Dance Utopia since 2022.
Rhiannon has danced since age 3, and has competed both regionally and nationally.
She is trained in Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
Alongside dance, Rhiannon has extensive expirience in Musical Theatre both on and off the stage. Rhiannon has performed in, choreographed, and directed numerous theatre productions throughout the state of Connecticut.
Outside of the studio, Rhiannon is a professional vocalist and enjoys performing alongside some of the easy coast’s finest musicians!
Rhiannon believes dance and the creative arts truly make the world a more beautiful place.
She is very proud to have a space for the next generation of dancers and performers to learn, grow, and thrive!
Violet Jakupco
Teacher
Violet has been dancing since the age of three
She is trained in pointe, ballet, jazz, acro, tap, pom, lyrical, and contemporary, with contemporary being her favorite style.
As a competitive dancer, Violet has earned numerous judges’ awards and placed at many competitions.
She is a two-time recipient of ballet and contemporary scholarships from Dance Masters of America.
Violet has been a student member of the professional contemporary dance company: Garet&Co for 2 years.
Violet is excited to join the Dance Utopia team!
Kimberly DiFato
Owner / Studio Manager
Having served The Farmington Valley since 2009 as a hairdresser under the title Kim4Color at Zinc Salon, Kimberly is thrilled to join her daughter Rhiannon, in the opening of Dance Utopia CT.
Having spent more than 2 decades in the beauty industry, Kimberly is over the moon to step into her second passion, the performing arts.
